Fundación Potencia marks 18 months transforming the afternoons of hundreds of children from public and subsidized schools into spaces of learning, joy, and personal growth.
Through extracurricular workshops in sports, music, and arts — taught by volunteers connected to higher education — the foundation works to develop skills, instill values such as perseverance, respect, and teamwork, and offer purposeful afternoons that support both children and their families.
Looking back on the journey, in 2024 classes were held at Liceo El Llano de Pirque, and in 2025 the foundation continued its work at Colegio Manuel José Irarrázaval, consolidating a working model that builds genuine bonds between young volunteers and children, broadening horizons and addressing social segregation at its roots.
Looking ahead to 2026, Fundación Potencia takes a new step by incorporating Colegio Espíritu Santo del Verbo Divino de San Joaquín, adding a new community to this movement. Each school represents a different story and a fresh opportunity to plant hope — and this year is no exception.
